Who’s on our panels at the next Talking Tech?

Guests speaking

AI/Machine Learning and WAN technologies are on the agenda for our next event, as chosen by our committed, growing Talking Tech community.

These exciting topics, all of which we are yet to covered at a Talking Tech event, bring with them some experienced and interesting discussion leaders.

Leading our AI/Machine Learning discussion will be Rebecca Vickery, Data Scientist at online/technology firm Holiday Extras. Rebecca has been touring events as a speaker across Europe for a while now bringing her hands-on experience in Analytics, SQL, Python and machine learning applications to audiences far and wide.

Joining Rebecca will be James Young, Head of ICT Strategy and Enterprise Architecture at Cantium Business Solutions, bringing experience of RPA, Machine Learning and its impacts on the public sector. Along with James, Tony Corkett, Chair at CTOi and CEO of Transforming Systems, will bring AI and Machine Learning knowledge to the debate, having been a Strategic Partnerships Lead at Google Deepmind.

For our WAN Technologies discussion, Dave Lindsay, Head of the KPSN (Kent Public Sector Network) will lead this. For the first time, Dave will bring his unique experience in helping build and shape one of the South East’s largest WAN infrastructures, discussing technologies of new and old and how they’ve got where they’re at.

Joining Dave will be Mat Strange, Senior Operations Manager at Icomera AB, where he heads up operations for a company which connects more than 5,000 trains and 26,000 buses and coaches worldwide through high-performance connectivity. Our final panel member for WAN will be Huawei’s UK Head of IP Networking, Steven Shijian; something we’re very excited about!

All of this makes for what should be a superb sixth Talking Tech. Held at our new home, The Maidstone Exhibition Hall, Kent Showground Detling, Talking Tech provides a forum for senior IT and tech professionals to information share without a sales pitch in sight. Running from 8am to midday, enjoy a free breakfast at this completely free to attend event on April 23rd 2020. Sign up here.
