Custodian Attend KEiBA 2017 Awards Ceremony
As proud sponsors of the KEiBA awards 2017, the Custodian team attended the annual gala dinner & ceremony last night which took place at The Kent Event Centre.
Our very own Leonard Kay awarded The Juice Executives’ Alexandra Auger with the Young Entrepreneur of the Award, alongside fellow judge Gill Cahill, Director of Business Development Execuitive Team at CXK.
Both Leonard and Gill scored their candidates for success and achievements relating to areas including motivation, ambition and vision. Other areas scored include business start-up challenges and solutions, along with trends in business turnover, profit and the quality of being a business leader.
Leonard had this to say, “Without exception, every one of the young entrepreneurs that we interviewed was an impressive individual. It’s really encouraging to know that so many of these high calibre young people are out there in the county, making things happen, building businesses, creating prosperity and employment.
“Alex from Juice Executive showed all the expected qualities of a great entrepreneur; belief, perseverance, confidence, determination, creativity but also an amazing attitude to her staff welfare. She was also mature enough to let her team take responsibility and let everybody play to their strengths which demonstrably benefited the business.”
Finalists for the Young Entrepreneur of the Year award included Matt Parkinson of VooServers and Nikita by Niki, set up by Nikita Mahon – who also entered the same category the previous year.
Winners for all 16 categories can be found on KEiBAs website.
