“Our mission is to deliver trusted and reliable Colocation, Connectivity and Cloud Services to businesses across the UK. Delivering a customer first experience and ensuring the highest quality technical expertise is provided to our customers.”
10+ years of sustainable building and 100% uptime...
Our vision at Custodian's conception was to fulfil demand and provide Kent with the much-needed industry leading data centre services it required. We were also passionate about how we built the data centre. Sustainably built using forward-thinking, eco-friendly and award-winning cooling technologies we created one of the greenest data centres in the UK and this is something we are very proud of.
But we didn't stop there, we became Network Specialists too. Renowned for our high capacity fully multi-homed network and range of connectivity options. Using our own dark fibre, we provide our customers with super-fast, low-latency connectivity all over the world.
We have never lost sight of the fact that we are here today thanks to our wonderful client base which has grown to more than 300 clients across our colocation, network and cloud portfolio. Our continued goal is to support our customers to grow their businesses by providing exceptional service and the technology they need, when they need it.
Customer demand has meant continued expansion.
Our latest expansion gave us a chance to take a new approach to data centre provision. Rather than building large data floors, our newest development launched in 2016 introduced a series of data rooms, each with the capacity of 18-24 racks. These rooms contain just two rows of racks with a single cold aisle and two hot aisles and provide an extra security layer, contained cooling environment, contained fire suppression and inexpensive private cage options.
But, as we all know, technology does not stand still.
We have also developed our products and services portfolio in line with technology advancements and industry demand. This has enabled us to provide the technology our customers need to grow their business and keep them competitive. How did we do it? We made sure that we had the very best expertise inhouse, this included our own M&E, Technical, NOC and support teams all built and supported by people who are highly skilled and passionate about what they do.
We have our own in-house compliance team to ensure that our accreditations, policies and procedures remain active and effective 24/7/365. Our experienced team also assists our customers in obtaining compliance for their businesses too.

The certification ensures; risks and threats are assessed and managed appropriately, physical security processes are enforced consistently and that audits are regularly conducted, including tests of security and CCTV monitoring.
Custodian's flagship data centre in Kent, exceeds the physical criteria for requirements 9 and 12 of the PCI DSS compliance framework and we are audit friendly.

Requirement 12: Maintain a policy that addresses information security for all personnel.
