Kent is home to Custodian's flagship, award winning data centre located just off junction 7 of the M20. The facility is flexible in its offerings, with almost unlimited power and cooling. This carrier neutral data centre offers u-space, quarter, half and full racks with options for data halls and suites.
Custodian’s flagship Kent facility has recently expanded over 3 floors of the existing site, divided into 4 data rooms it allows Custodian to offer individual 18-24 rack suites alongside our core colocation offerings, offering each client more privacy and exclusivity that comes with having your own suite, without having to pay the premium for it.
Providing a range of connectivity options, Custodian are carrier neutral so can deliver everything from diverse connections into the facility, to a full managed network or IP Transit. The core network infrastructure has been installed with a multitude of carriers including NTT, Level 3, Virgin Media Business and BT. Custodian Data Centre operates a fully multi-homed and highly resilient IP Transit service under our own ASN 50300.
True diverse feeds via completely diverse power distribution paths via separate batteries, UPS’s and generators, provide resilience with 100% uptime record. Our site benefits from diverse grids that can switch in the event of a long term mains power outage. In the meantime, we carry enough fuel in our generators to run for 3 days, as well as having priority re-fuelling contracts in place.
The data centre utilises an atomising evaporative cooling system, providing the correct amount of air, with the correct humidity at the correct temperature (22 °C +/- 2 °C). Systems can withstand multiple failures without affecting the cooling to your rack.
Custodian operate a 24/7/365 on-site NOC (network operations centre) with a dedicated and experienced team available at all times.
To provide maximum physical security the data centre is located within a ring-fenced site featuring electric gates, CCTV and 24/7 on-site security team.
